Sonoma · Est. 2024
A neighborhood bakery and grocery on Mountain Avenue — where sourdough rises slowly, the pantry is thoughtfully stocked, and every visit feels like coming home.
Our Story
Côte des Cailloux began with a simple conviction: that the best food doesn't need a stage — it needs time, good ingredients, and hands that care. We opened our doors on Mountain Avenue to serve a community that values real bread, honest provisions, and the kind of place where you're known by name.
Every morning, our ovens are lit before dawn. Our sourdough ferments for 48 hours. Our pastries are folded by hand. And our grocery shelves carry only what we'd serve our own families — local honey, small-batch preserves, olive oils from Sonoma County estates, and pantry staples that actually taste like something.
What We Offer
Two worlds under one roof — an artisan bakery producing bread and pastries daily, and a curated grocery carrying the finest provisions from Sonoma County and beyond.
Our flagship loaf — 48-hour cold ferment, organic Sonoma County flour, a crust that shatters and a crumb that sings. Baked fresh every morning.
Croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes — all laminated by hand with French butter. The kind of pastry that makes you slow down and savor it.
A carefully selected pantry — Sonoma County olive oils, local honey, small-batch pasta, artisan cheeses, and provisions you won't find in a supermarket.
Rotating offerings that follow the Sonoma harvest — strawberry galette in June, pear tart in October, gingerbread through the holidays. Ask what's fresh today.
